 Lake Mackenzie

Lake Mackenzie is operated by Mackenzie Municipal Water Authority (MMWA)

   THE BURN BAN HAS BEEN LIFTED AT THIS TIME, CAUTION IN THE USE OF FIRES IS STILL ADVISED.

 

Rules and Regulations:

All State Rules and Regulations will be enforced at Lake Mackenzie.  In addition, the following rules will be enforced:

  • Life Jacket (Coast Guard approved) must be worn during skiing.
  • No firearms allowed, HUNTING is FORBIDDEN on Lake Property.
  • No Parking, picnicking on the boat ramp or turn around area.  This area is restricted only to vehicles off-loading and on-loading boats.
  • Swimming is at your own risk.
  • Only trolling speed by boats 30 minutes after sundown until 30 minutes before sunrise.
  • Counter-clockwise skiing on the lake only.
  • House boats (those having living quarters thereon) are not allowed on the lake.
  • Carp and goldfish used as bait is prohibited.
  •  Dogs must be on a leash.

 

Mule Deer are seen around Mackenzie Lake throughout the year.
