 Lake Mackenzie

Lake Mackenzie is operated by Mackenzie Municipal Water Authority (MMWA)

AS OF APRIL 30, 2009 THE BURN BAN HAS BEEN LIFTED IN BRISCOE AND SWISHER COUNTIES.

The Large Shelter is available for rent for business meetings and/or family reunions.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling Mackenzie Bait & Tackle (the Marina) at (806) 633 - 4335.  The fee schedule allows for a full day or half day fee to be paid.  Restroom facilities are nearby as well as playground equipment for children to play on.  There are two RV hookups near the shelter. Civic/Church groups of the four member cities (Floydada, Lockney, Silverton, Tulia) and Boys Scout groups in uniform can use the Large Shelter at no charge.

This Playground area is located next to the Large Shelter and is available for use by everyone using the lake.

This is some of the playground equipment in Rotary Park that is available for use by families visiting the lake.  The playground is next to the Large Shelter and very handy for children attending family reunions at the Large Shelter.
