AS OF DECEMBER 14, 2010 A BURN BAN IS IN EFFECT FOR BRISCOE AND SWISHER COUNTIES.  LAKE MACKENZIE IS IN THESE COUNTIES.  NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED PERIOD - COUNTYWIDE-AREA BAN IN EFFECT!

There are 36 camp sites (some with water) and all with cookers.  These camp sites can be rented for a Fee on a per night basis.  Some of these camp sites are located in the ATV area.  The same Fee charged for tent camping is charged for Primitive RV camping on these sites.

There are 25 RV camp sites that are available on a per night basis for a Fee.  There are water and electric connections at  each camp site.  Two dump stations at different strategic locations are available for RV campers to use.
