Lake Mackenzie

AS OF DECEMBER 14, 2010 A BURN BAN IS IN EFFECT FOR BRISCOE AND SWISHER COUNTIES.  LAKE MACKENZIE IS IN THESE COUNTIES.  NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED PERIOD - COUNTYWIDE-AREA BAN IN EFFECT!

Skiing, tubing, personal watercraft (Jet Ski, Sea Doo, etc.), canoes, and sail boats are popular water sports on Lake Mackenzie.  Individuals launching one of these crafts should obtain a permit  by paying the Fees at Mackenzie Bait & Tackle.  Visitors participating in these activities should follow all Mackenzie Lake Rules and the regulations of the Texas Water Safety Act.
